The Ladder of Phenomena

Here's the big secret the Ladder of Phenomena will unfold: nothing in Nature is a separate "thing." Every particle, every bit of matter, every object, and all radiation is simply a combination of a few stable states of energy density woven into the one elastic substratum — the holodeck.

Take the simplest atom, hydrogen. It isn't a tiny ball orbited by another tiny ball floating in empty space. It's a single polarized region of the holodeck holding a hadronic state (what we call its proton) locked in balance with a leptonic state (its electron). Same substratum, two stable states, one atom. Climb or descend the ladder and every rung — from the substratum up to the whole cosmos — is built from these very same stable states of energy density.

And the ladder is astonishingly orderly. Sankhya shows that every rung is the same elastic substratum counted at a different rate — a single interaction count C raised step by step, from the smallest unit of activity (My) all the way up to the whole cosmos (MU). Six balanced steps — C, C², C³, C⁴, C⁵, C⁶ — carry you from the Planck-time heartbeat of space, through the neutrino (NE), the electron and neutron (Me, PM), the metric elasticity of the field (St), and the Planck-mass (Mps), up to the Purusha “black-hole” state Kx. Because each step must loop back to the same central value, the whole ladder proves itself — this is Sankhya’s “Special System of Proof.” Gopala and Neil are preparing this journey for you.

Siddhi

Your finest instrument is the one between your ears

Every result in this Discovery Zone was first seen in a still, coherent mind before it was ever written as an equation. Sankhya calls that trained, resonant coherence Siddhi — and it's a skill every person can build, not a gift for a chosen few.

The big idea

Your five senses only catch the loud stuff — the light, sound, and heat radiating off the surface of things, one signal after another. But underneath all of it is the substratum: one silent, humming field that touches everything, everywhere, at the very same instant. Your senses can't reach it. Your thinking mind can.

That's the part that's uniquely human. We're the "thinkers," and the Siddhi process is how we couple straight into that field — not by pushing harder, but by going quiet. When the mind stills, it stops broadcasting and starts resonating, tuning in through the pineal "antenna" (that's literally what yoga means — to join or yoke) to the faintest, most subtle signals in the substratum, far below anything our senses can register. Do that, and you're linking straight to the source of all knowledge. Not magic, not a gift for a lucky few — a technology every single person can learn to switch on.

The porous-pot secret

Picture a clay pot sitting in a flowing river. Water seeps through its walls until the level inside matches the river outside — no pump, no effort, just resonance. Sankhya says awareness works the same way: settle the mind and it naturally equalizes with the field of information around it. Insight seeps in.

What is Siddhi?

Siddhi is a process for achieving a unique state of mind — the deeply relaxed, coherent condition you reach when body and mind stop working against the field around you and fall into step with it. In that state your inner activity all fires at once instead of in a busy sequence, so your own energy potential can quietly equalize with the resonant sea of the substratum. Patanjali called the joining Yoga — "to yoke," to synchronize through resonance.

The three principles

  1. Stillness — reduce physical and mental motion so readings stop jittering.
  2. Coherence — let the two hemispheres and the breath fall into a single steady rhythm.
  3. Resonance — once still and coherent, the mind tunes to what it observes, like the porous pot to the river.

How to actually do it

  1. Set up your seat. Roll a towel into a firm cylinder about 7–8 inches thick.
  2. Sit on the edge. Perch on the front edge of the roll so your hips tilt slightly forward and your spine stacks upright on its own — no slouching, no strain.
  3. Let the spine lead. Crown of the head gently lifted, shoulders soft, hands resting easily.
  4. Follow the breath. Breathe slowly and evenly; let attention rest on the breath without forcing it. When the mind wanders, return — that returning is the training.
  5. Stay ~21 minutes. A natural quarter of the 84-minute orbital resonance (84 ÷ 4 = 21) — long enough to settle past the surface chatter and into steady coherence.

Wait — there's real evidence?

Yes. Meditation has a measurable signature in the brain's electrical rhythms, which shift as attention settles:

BetaOrdinary busy waking thought — the noisy baseline.
AlphaRelaxed, alert calm — the noise starts dropping.
ThetaDeep meditative stillness where insight tends to arrive.
DeltaThe slowest, deepest rhythm — profound settledness.
3.75 cps The rhythm at which the two brain hemispheres tend to synchronize in deep practice — hemispheric coherence you can measure.
84 min The orbital period of a satellite skimming Earth's surface — the same natural resonance Sankhya links to deep meditative cycles. A quarter of it (84 ÷ 4 = 21 minutes) makes an ideal sit.

Why this belongs in your explorer's kit

You don't need a lab or a title to practice it — just curiosity and a quiet room. Siddhi is the part nobody sells you: sharpen the observer, and every other tool in this Zone works better. You're not chasing magic. You're lowering the noise floor on the one instrument you can never replace.

Chantal Roth

Chantal Roth is a scientist and software engineer with a master's in biochemistry and a PhD in scientific computing from ETH Zürich, plus years building software in biotech and personalized medicine. What drives her is a plain, honest curiosity about how the world actually works — an evidence-based, critical-thinking, "follow the data wherever it leads" mindset, paired with a practical maker's habit of testing ideas rather than taking them on faith. That spirit runs through her open-source library of interactive models, which show how quantum mechanics, relativity, charge, spin, and wave behavior can emerge from a real, structured substratum. Every simulation runs in your browser and can be inspected, remixed, and shared.

Bob Greenyer

Bob Greenyer is an independent researcher and a leading figure in the Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project (MFMP), a "Live Open Science" effort that openly replicates and shares experiments in low-energy nuclear reactions and related energy phenomena. His work — and his broader thinking on resonance, structure, and how energy organizes itself in a medium — is documented across his Substack, Remote View ↗, the MFMP site at quantumheat.org ↗, and the MFMP YouTube channel ↗.

His Standing Wave Project is a free online 3D tool for exploring how resonant frequencies organize energy into stable, coherent structures — standing waves and toroidal modes — within a medium.
